By a Mohanji follower
With deep gratitude, I would like to share a testimonial from a recent experience with the Relationship Alignment Process. Since Mohanji introduced the process, I have been very interested in it. I have had failed relationships since childhood—with friends, at school, with parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, boyfriends, my husband, extended family, and in-laws. There was no purity, harmony, or completeness. So, I have been very persistent in trying to solve this or understand why, and I truly wanted to resolve it.
I had tried through dialogues, meditations, and even seva to release this pattern, but it felt very hard and deeply ingrained. Finally, there was a breakthrough with the Relationship Alignment Process.
Initially, I joined two group sessions with Tina. However, about 30 minutes into the sessions, I would slip into a deep sleep. I then approached Tina and asked why this was happening. She mentioned that I might be carrying a lot of trauma and may not be ready to face it during group sessions. She suggested that I take an individual session with her.
So I scheduled a session for a suitable time and prepared for it. As soon as she began, there were many technical glitches, but we persisted and managed to conduct the session on the appointed date and time. Within a few minutes of the session beginning, I started to feel sleepy again. As Tina suggested, I began taking deep, conscious breaths to avoid dozing off.
The intention of the session was to break free from the relationship patterns I carried from childhood with my parents. Soon, traumatic feelings started to surface. I pounded my fists, yelled, and cried intensely as part of the release. This went on for some time, after which I became very calm, and messages began to surface.
After the process finished, what happened was amazing. Never had I had such a big release previously, and that whole day I felt so light. It felt as if a huge rock had been lifted off me. I didn’t have any hatred; all the anger had gone, just disappeared. Throughout the day I was smiling and floating in bliss. The root cause of all my failed relationships was revealed during the two-hour session, and I gained more clarity.
The pattern became clear: there is a lot of resistance to love—real love, true love, love for myself, and love from others—especially in receiving love. This resistance comes from the feeling that I am not good enough to receive it.
What unfolded was my childhood history. The story resurfaced. In the process of unfolding my childhood and teenage years, I realised I had started absorbing everything—garbage in, garbage out. Because I did not value my own feelings, how I felt stopped mattering. How others treated me also stopped mattering. Even if people took advantage of me, it did not matter. I understood the conditioning during my childhood and teenage years that led me to believe I had become a people-pleaser, rather than focusing on my own feelings and personal growth.
Because of repeated patterns of trying to prove myself and not wanting to receive, I started to feel unworthy of receiving—both in work and in relationships. Even when I did something and did not receive the maximum benefit, I was okay with it because I was subconsciously resisting fully receiving it. This became a pattern of not wanting to achieve 100%.
The best part was that a couple of days after the session, my parents called me. This happened after many months. They called to say they needed my details for some financial purposes. Not that it was something big they called me for, but at least they called me. After 2 weeks of the process, I am in talking terms with them. Although we don’t touch on the past and even though we have no frequency match, we do talk about other things we need to resolve, like bank matters, etc.
There are times when I still harbour hatred toward them. I even called my uncle and complained to him about them. Then I thought maybe nothing really changed after the process. Then I felt the need to do the process on myself. All these negative thoughts are arising in me. So why not do the process for me and see if there is a solution.

How Guided Practices Led to Lasting Change
I arranged the session with Tina once again and completed the process. What came up during the process was that I was limiting my self-love, and feminine energy was not being utilised very well while I was chasing love and attention from outside. I needed to practice more self–love and self-healing. This just happened spontaneously. I had the right intention that this matter would be resolved and that I would practise more witnesshood when negative emotions arose and when self-love was being challenged.
Within a few days, I started to notice the change in myself. I had shifted from wanting to accept people and situations. It was a major shift in perspective, and after a long time, I was able to let go of the past. Now, whenever I talk to them, I have no hatred; I can see clearly why they did what they did, the level of awareness they are operating at, and that this is the maximum they can do. I accept them for what they are without giving too much of myself so that I don’t get hurt in the bargain. In fact, I am going to visit them this month.
Then I visited them for a short trip to get some paperwork done. The best part was the moment I saw them; I had no remorse. They warmly welcomed me, and we got the paperwork done on the day I landed. Everything was arranged by them. Then I had the remaining 2 days to spend with them. I asked them if they were willing to come with me to Shirdi, and they readily agreed.
I arranged their tickets and booked the rooms, and with Mohanji’s grace, everything went well. We even had 2 darshan aarathis, and it was an amazing experience for all of us. They were very happy and thanked me profusely for bringing them to Shirdi. This was their first time in Shirdi, and they made multiple rounds of darshan. They were very pleased, and their hearts were full.
Embracing Inner Freedom and Authenticity
In the end, there was no remorse, no expectations; only awareness prevailed. Not that they have changed. But I have definitely changed. My thinking has changed, and that’s what matters. From my experience, I would say we just need the right intention and yearning for things to happen, and Mohanji makes it possible through this process. A little patience pays off a lot.
If there’s one thing I have learnt from these sessions, it’s that we need to have patience. Even though the process is done, don’t expect immediate results. The way things unfold will be according to what is the right way for it to unfold, and it may be immediate.
Thank you, Mohanji, for this valuable experience and insights throughout the process, and for the transformation you have brought. Without you, this transformation would not have been possible. Deepest gratitude for this experience.
